The Minister of Economy and Commerce, Bakyt Sydykov, reported in a live broadcast on Birinchi Radio that the presidential moratorium on business inspections does not include three key agencies.
According to the minister, the restrictions do not apply to the Tax and Customs Services, as well as the Civil Aviation Agency.
"On March 14, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree introducing a temporary moratorium on inspections of business entities. The purpose of this decree is to stabilize economic activity and promote business development. According to the document, inspections conducted by state control agencies will be suspended until December 31 of this year. However, this restriction does not apply to the Tax Service, Customs Service, and Civil Aviation Agency, as they are required to perform their functions without interruption. For other control agencies, the moratorium will be in effect until the end of the year," explained Sydykov.
The minister also noted that the decree introduces the concepts of "friendly inspection" and "friendly audit.""Another important feature of the decree is the introduction of the concepts of 'friendly inspection' and 'friendly audit.' This means that if inspections are initiated based on complaints or for ensuring state security, consultation will be provided. At the same time, fines and other punitive measures will be limited," added the minister.
