The Ministry of Economy announced a decrease in meat prices in Kyrgyzstan
Despite the overall rise in meat prices worldwide, the situation in Kyrgyzstan is stabilizing, as noted by the department.
As of January 30, 2026, maximum retail prices for beef and lamb have been introduced in the country, both in Bishkek and Osh, in order to prevent inflationary pressure, the Ministry of Economy reported.
Additionally, the ministry clarified that in January and February, 65.6 thousand tons of meat were produced in live weight, which is 0.9 thousand tons or 1.4% higher than the level of the same period last year.
