The gross harvest of greenhouse cucumbers exceeded the volume of tomatoes by almost 2.8 times. » Gazeta.kg

- In the first two months of 2026, the gross harvest of cucumbers grown in protected ground (greenhouses, hotbeds, film coverings) in Kyrgyzstan reached 88.2 centners, while the harvest of tomatoes amounted to 31.3 centners, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.

The main volumes of tomatoes were harvested in the Jalal-Abad region, where out of the total harvest of 31.3 centners, this region accounted for 20 centners, which is 63.9% of the national figure. The Chui region harvested 10 centners (31.9%), while the Osh region collected 1.3 centners (4.2%).

As for cucumbers, the Chui region led in the harvest, providing over 63% of the total volume: 55.8 centners were collected here, which corresponds to 63.3% of the national volume. The Jalal-Abad region contributed 31 centners (35.1%), while the Osh region collected 1.4 centners (1.6%).
