In 2025, the total volume of foreign trade amounted to $15.8 billion, which is a decrease of 10.2%. The main trading partners remain:
- China (31.4%),
- Russia (24.3%),
- Kazakhstan (11.8%),
- Uzbekistan (6.3%).
According to the EDB, the value of exports decreased by 1.8 times, which is largely explained by a reduction in the supply of precious metals, which fell by 3.7 times.
Imports, on the other hand, showed an increase of 3.9%, which is associated with an increase in the volumes of imported non-precious metals (by 1.6 times) and mineral products (+21.8%).
