A machine and tractor station (MTS) has officially opened in the Ak-Suu district, created to assist local farmers and modernize the agricultural sector. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The project was initiated by the country's president, Sadyr Japarov. A total of 108 million soms has been allocated from the Presidential Fund for its implementation. The station's base is located on the territory of the previously existing enterprise "Selyenergo," located in the village of Ak-Suu.
As part of this initiative, the acquisition of over 60 units of agricultural machinery is planned, of which 32 units have already arrived. The equipment will be used to service farmers in the Ak-Suu, Tyup, and Jeti-Oguz districts.
The MTS provides a wide range of services covering all stages of agrotechnical work—from soil preparation to harvest. Special attention is given to potato farming, for which 10 potato harvesting combines have been purchased.
To date, the station is actively participating in spring fieldwork, providing farmers with quality services at the right time, which, in turn, contributes to increasing agricultural productivity in the region.
