The bill received parliamentary support in the second reading
A bill concerning the ratification of an agreement with the Eurasian Development Bank aimed at the project "Improvement of Roads in the City of Osh" was approved in the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to the project, it is planned to construct two overpass bridges in Osh and repair a 3.2-kilometer stretch of road.
The total budget for this project is approximately $19.3 million, of which:
— about $14–14.5 million will be provided as a loan from the Eurasian Development Bank;
— about $1.2 million will be allocated as a grant;
— approximately $3.9 million will be provided from the state budget of Kyrgyzstan.
The loan funds will be provided on preferential terms: for a period of 15 years, with a 5-year grace period and an interest rate of about 1.2% per annum.
