On March 26-27, a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Shymkent, with the participation of the prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. About 15 different issues are planned for discussion at this meeting. This was announced by Kanibek uulu Elimbek, head of the EAEU Coordination Department, at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency.
Elimbek highlighted that one of the main agenda items will be the update of the cooperation regulations. He noted that within the framework of the new regulations, special criteria and simplified mechanisms for project selection will be implemented.
Additionally, the agenda includes issues related to the additional payments made by the commissions as part of the macroeconomic policy being implemented.
As Elimbek pointed out, according to the current regulations, the member countries must annually provide analytical reports on the current state of affairs in the Union and develop their own development forecasts.
