The National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan has announced its intention to consider the introduction of the BRICS Pay payment gateway. This information appeared in the agency's press release.

During a meeting with representatives of the international project, issues related to the future development of cross-border retail (C2B) and corporate (B2B) payments were discussed.

BRICS Pay is a decentralized platform that simplifies financial transactions between BRICS countries and their partners. It enables payments in national currencies, making the process fast, secure, and independent of intermediaries, thus contributing to the creation of a modern international financial infrastructure.

The meeting also discussed aspects of the project's technological architecture and business model, as well as the investment potential of its implementation in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Head of the Agency, Meerimbek Koichumanov, expressed readiness to support this initiative and emphasized its significance for enhancing the country's investment attractiveness.

According to experts, the implementation of BRICS Pay could allow Kyrgyzstan to reduce dependence on foreign payment systems, improve control over integration with the domestic financial infrastructure, and accelerate the development of digital services.
