At a briefing on March 13, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Choro Seitiov reported on the prospects for Kyrgyzstan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2030. According to him, it is expected to exceed the initially planned level of $30 billion.
Seitiov noted that the baseline GDP figure was initially set at $30 billion by 2030 in strategic forecasts, but new calculations indicate the possibility of an increase. "We planned the GDP at the level of $30 billion, but according to our preliminary estimates, it may reach approximately $31–32 billion," he added.
Furthermore, the first deputy minister provided data as of the end of 2025. At that time, Kyrgyzstan's GDP amounted to about 2 trillion soms, which is equivalent to approximately $22.5 billion in dollar terms.
Growth in GDP per capita was also recorded. "If in 2024 this figure was around $2,500, now it has approached $3,000," emphasized Seitiov.
According to him, economic growth is projected to be in the range of 8.5–8.6% for 2026. It is expected that the main contribution to this growth will come from sectors such as construction, services, industry, processing, and transportation.
