The most ambitious project is the construction of power generation facilities being carried out by Resto. Investments in this project will amount to $1.3 billion, which will create over 200 jobs.
In addition, several other large industrial projects are planned in the Chui region:
- Aldos Textile: the first phase of construction has begun with investments of up to $20 million. The capacity of the new enterprise will be 500 tons of products per year, providing jobs for about 500 people.
- Asia Steel: significant modernization of metallurgical production is underway with investments exceeding 1 billion soms.
- Glass Center: the launch of production of double-glazed windows and aluminum structures is planned.
- Nurislam Emerec: a furniture production facility that will produce 150,000 square meters of particleboard per year, with investments of about $600,000 and the creation of 150 jobs.
A modern trade and logistics center from the company "Promsklad KG" is also expected to launch in Bishkek. The area of this facility will be 6,000 square meters, and its cost will be $6 million. This will create about 100 new jobs for local residents.
