The expansion of bean exports from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey was discussed in Mersin








The trade representative of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey, Chyngyz Esengul uulu, held a meeting with Hakan Sefa Çakır, who is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event took place in the Turkish city of Mersin.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, the main focus of the meeting was on the prospects for deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, with an emphasis on the development of agriculture and food trade.

After the official part of the event, a more extensive working meeting took place, attended by representatives of companies engaged in the import and export of dry products. During the discussions, special attention was paid to bean trade, which is an important commodity for agricultural trade for both Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Turkish participants noted that trade volumes are influenced by factors such as the quality of exported beans, grain size, and global price dynamics.

During the meetings, the need to establish direct business contacts between Kyrgyz producers and Turkish importers was emphasized, which could contribute to improving product quality and increasing production efficiency. The possibility of cooperation with the Turkish Seed Growers Union to improve seed material was also considered.

As part of his visit to Mersin, Chyngyz Esengul uulu familiarized himself with the operations of companies such as Saysan Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti., Dervişoğlu Bakliyat A.Ş., and Tat Bakliyat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. He also held negotiations with their management. The main areas of cooperation discussed during the meetings included:
