In Kyrgyzstan, the authorities are focusing their efforts on improving the investment climate by offering support to both local and foreign investors. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Choro Seitov, during a briefing on March 13.

Seitov emphasized that one of the main obstacles for entrepreneurs wishing to start a business is the lack of land plots. Currently, territories designated for industrial zones have already been identified in each region of the country.

"Land is a primary necessity for those who want to start their own business. Each region now has its own industrial zone where production can be developed," he noted.

The Deputy Minister also pointed out the active work in the industrial zone of the city of Tokmok, located in the Chui region, where significant space has been allocated for new enterprises. Similar sites will also be available in other regions, such as Ala-Buka, Osh, and Kara-Suu districts.

According to Seitov, the government is committed to providing these zones with the necessary infrastructure, including electricity, gas (where possible), roads, water supply, and sewage systems. This is expected to create favorable conditions for the launch of new productions.
