According to information announced on March 13 during a briefing, Kyrgyzstan will face high demand for housing and building materials in the coming years. This was stated by Choro Seyitov, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce.

He noted that the level of housing provision in the country is still far from 100%, which will contribute to a sustained demand for construction and related goods.

“I am confident that for at least the next 10 years, there will be active housing construction across all regions of Kyrgyzstan,” he added.

According to Seyitov, this will create demand for construction and finishing materials such as rebar, slate, wallpaper, paints, and nails.

He also emphasized that this sector has significant growth potential and can attract interest from entrepreneurs.

In addition, Seyitov reported on plans to diversify production in the country. The opening of new enterprises in various industries is expected, focusing on deep processing of raw materials and creating products with high added value.

According to Seyitov, the development of processing will enhance the efficiency of production processes, increase business profitability, attract investments, and create new jobs.
