According to the Ministry of Finance, in January 2026, the fees for the registration of motor vehicles in Kyrgyzstan increased by 48% compared to the same period last year. This resulted in revenue of 482 million 114.3 thousand soms (approximately $5.4 million) for the budget.

As a reminder, the total revenue from these fees for the year 2025 amounted to 5 billion 791.6 million soms (about $66.1 million).
