Milk production in Kazakhstan increased by 5% in 2025

- According to data published on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, in 2025, the country produced 3.8 million tons of cow's milk, which represents an increase of 5% compared to 2024 (3.58 million tons).

The largest growth was observed in agricultural enterprises, which increased their volumes by 10.6%, reaching 761 thousand tons. Farms and individual entrepreneurs increased production by 3.3%, while households, which account for the majority of production (over 2.3 million tons), increased their yields by 3.7%.

Among the regions showing the highest growth are Almaty region with an increase of 14.4% among agricultural formations, Kostanay region with 11.9%, and Pavlodar region with 10.3%. The largest amount of milk was produced in Turkestan region, where the volume reached 474.4 thousand tons.
