"About 100 companies with a dominant position in the Kyrgyzstan market, - Antimonopoly Service"
In response, the head of the Antimonopoly Service, Aibek Mamyraliyev, stated that their number is about 100.
The deputy also inquired about what measures would be taken if these companies started raising prices on goods.
Mamyraliyev explained that initially a warning would be issued, followed by a caution, then a notice, and only after that would there be measures of accountability.
"If the violating company admits its guilt, it can expect a mitigation of punishment," he noted.
Additionally, the deputy requested a list of monopolists.
At this time, the draft Law "On Competition" was being discussed, which had been submitted for its first reading (initiator – Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, entry No. 6-1194/26 dated 27.02.2026) (Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development).
