He noted that this applies to everyone without exception.
According to the president, it is necessary to reduce the level of imports or at least bring it closer to the level of exports. "Previously, imports accounted for 70%, while exports were 30%. However, the situation is changing now, and import figures have decreased to nearly 60%," he noted.
Japarov also mentioned that a fish feed factory has been launched in Kara-Balta and called on fishery enterprises to purchase feed there rather than from European sources.
“Supporting local producers is important, as they can provide feed not only for the fishing farms of Kyrgyzstan but also start exporting their products to neighboring countries,” he added. “We have not only started producing construction materials but are already exporting them to neighboring countries, whereas previously they were supplied to us exclusively from abroad,” he stated.
