The warehouse, with a total area of about 280 square meters, was built on municipal land as part of the CASA-1000 project aimed at supporting local communities. The total construction cost exceeded 6.7 million soms, of which the majority of the funds were allocated from additional project financing, while 104,000 soms came from the local budget.
The technical parameters of the new warehouse allow for the simultaneous storage of up to 200 tons of agricultural products. The facility is divided into four sections, each capable of holding 50 tons. Plans include the storage of crops such as onions, carrots, cabbage, and bell peppers, as well as fruits including apples and persimmons. Construction work began in April 2024 and was carried out by the contracting organization OsOO "Progress+S".
During his visit, Nurdin Dovletov discussed with local residents and businessmen the possibilities for developing the agricultural sector in the region. During the meeting, it was noted that the new warehouse will also serve as a base for developing greenhouse farming to grow organic products. A representative of the ministry assured that all proposals from farmers would be forwarded to the ministry's leadership for further support of local residents' initiatives.
