The total cost of this large-scale project exceeds 1 billion soms (approximately 11.8 million USD) and is being carried out with the direct assistance of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. As part of the state program to support the agro-industrial complex, "Aiyl Bank" has allocated a preferential loan of 5 million USD, which accounts for more than 42% of the total investment volume. The remaining funds, nearly 7 million USD, are the company's own investments.
The cluster's infrastructure includes unique facilities for the southern region of the country: a fish farming facility at the Kurpsay reservoir, where it is planned to produce up to 5,000 tons of trout per year by 2030, as well as a sturgeon farm in the Suzak district. The sturgeon farm aims to produce 270 tons of sturgeon meat and 1 ton of black caviar annually. A processing plant with an area of 2,100 square meters is being built with modern shock freezing lines.
During the visit, Erlis Akunbekov noted that the ministry would provide comprehensive support for this initiative. A training center has already been established at the enterprise, where seminars for local farmers wishing to develop aquaculture will be organized in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries. It is expected that over the next five years, tax revenues from the cluster's operations will exceed 1.35 billion soms, and many new jobs will be created for the population.
Production processes will begin soon: the release of fry is scheduled for April of this year. According to experts' forecasts, in a year and a half, the fish will reach a market weight of 5–6 kilograms. The implementation of this project will be an important step towards ensuring food security in Kyrgyzstan and will allow domestic fish products to enter international markets.
