Kyrgyzstan continues to actively develop its position in the flower market in the region. According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, flowers grown in the republic are in steady demand both domestically and abroad, especially in neighboring countries. The main directions of export supplies include Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.
Statistics indicate significant growth in this sector: in 2024, the volume of exports amounted to just over 13 million units, and in 2025 it nearly doubled, reaching 24.1 million flowers. The trend of growth continues this year: in the first two months, 17 tons of products were exported, which corresponds to over 213 thousand units.
To date, Uzbekistan has become one of the main importers of Kyrgyz flowers, accounting for a significant portion of export supplies since the beginning of the year. Experts from the relevant agency emphasize that the active development of floriculture in the country not only allows for the expansion of supply volumes but also enables successful competition in the international market due to the high quality of the products.
