Meat Expansion: Kyrgyzstan Outpaces EAEU Partners in Production of Products

There is a 3.6% increase in meat production in the republic, which contributes to the development of the agro-industrial complex in the region.

According to recent data from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on agriculture in the EAEU countries for 2025, Kyrgyzstan ranked first in increasing meat production volumes. In the first three quarters of the reporting year, the republic produced 476.1 thousand tons of meat, which is 3.6% more compared to 2024.

In comparison, Kazakhstan saw a growth of 2.7%, while the overall rise across the union is less pronounced.

Experts emphasize that against the backdrop of a general increase in prices for agricultural products in the EAEU, Kyrgyzstan has managed to maintain high indicators in livestock and poultry production, strengthening its position in the agricultural market.

However, there is also a significant increase in meat prices within the republic.
