
During his visit, the minister familiarized himself with the work of the institute, inspected the latest laboratories, and assessed the condition of the institution's material and technical base. He was presented with key results of recent scientific research and was informed about methods of ensuring veterinary safety in the country.
The minister also met with the scientific team, where current issues in the industry, funding for scientific research, and the implementation of new technologies in practical activities were discussed.
Akunbekov emphasized that supporting veterinary science is an important strategic priority for the state.
He noted: "Improving the quality of fundamental research and introducing innovations into production are the keys to the health of agricultural livestock, as well as to the food, biological, and environmental safety of Kyrgyzstan as a whole."
