Kyrgyzstan Remains a Leader in Exporting New Cars to Russia
According to his data, there is a 35 percent increase in the import of passenger cars in February.
In February, 46.8 thousand passenger cars were imported into the Russian Federation, which is 35 percent higher than the figures for the same month last year, when 35 thousand cars were imported.
The import of new passenger cars, which are less than three years old, increased by 29 percent, totaling 20.9 thousand units, while the import of used cars (older than three years) rose by 40 percent, reaching 25.9 thousand.
Sergey Tselikov noted that among the countries exporting new cars, Kyrgyzstan ranks second with a share of 20.5 percent, second only to China, which controls 67.2 percent of the market.
Earlier, "Autostat" reported that in 2025, Kyrgyzstan ranked first among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the import of new passenger cars to Russia, supplying 53.6 thousand units.
