The ministry noted that imports to Kyrgyzstan are carried out without significant problems, while exports face difficulties.
At a recent meeting of the relevant committee in the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov stated that Kyrgyzstan will defend its interests if Kazakhstan and Russia begin to violate EAEU rules and impose barriers.
Akhmatov commented on the remarks of deputies that imported goods are entering the country without significant difficulties, while exports encounter various obstacles. This has become particularly noticeable due to long queues of trucks at the border with Kazakhstan.
“Delays occur due to internal issues in the countries to which we supply our products. If Kazakhstan and Russia continue to violate EAEU requirements, we will be ready to defend our rights by preparing all necessary documents to appeal to the Eurasian Economic Commission,” he noted.
