A pilot project for the mobile application "Electronic Notary" has been launched in the Kyrgyz Republic, developed by the Ministry of Justice. It is currently available for download on the Play Market, and its appearance on the App Store is expected in the near future.
According to information provided by the ministry, this application allows users to perform various notarial actions remotely and electronically. The available services include notarizing parental and legal representatives' consents for minors to travel abroad, consent for registration at the place of residence, obtaining passports, handling citizenship issues, as well as notarizing powers of attorney necessary for obtaining documents in state institutions, customs clearance of goods, and representing interests in government agencies without the alienation of property.
The use of the application is possible for notarial actions concerning both individuals and legal entities, whether located within the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic or outside it, provided that all requirements of current legislation and international agreements are met.
