On March 1, 2026, the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the completion of the campaign to legalize jewelry. During this initiative, 942 entrepreneurs were able to legalize their products, with a total value of about 16.8 billion soms.
The agency clarified that during the campaign, 1,604 electronic invoices were issued. Information about jewelry that lacked documents confirming their origin was entered into the tax service's database.
According to representatives of the State Tax Service, this innovation will significantly improve the accounting and control over the circulation of jewelry products.
The campaign was conducted in accordance with the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On measures to support certain sectors of the economy" and, according to the tax authority, is an important step towards improving tax administration and increasing transparency in the economy.
The tax service also noted that it will continue to cooperate with the business community to ensure compliance with legislation and create equal conditions for all entrepreneurs.
