During a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of finance, budget, entrepreneurship, and competition development, deputy Ismanali Joroev drew attention to the difficulties arising when exporting goods from Kyrgyzstan to the EAEU states. According to him, obstacles continue to arise at the border with Kazakhstan, including long queues for trucks.
Sultan Akhmatov, serving as the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, commented that delays in cargo movement are primarily related to internal processes in Russia and Kazakhstan, which directly affects transit and throughput capacity.
Moreover, he noted that in case of violations of EAEU norms, the Kyrgyz side is ready to submit relevant appeals to the Eurasian Economic Commission to protect its interests in the established manner.
