Hong Kong Stock Exchange Conducted a Record Number of IPOs Since the Beginning of the Year
In January of this year, nearly 100 companies submitted applications for IPOs in Hong Kong, which is three times more compared to the same period last year.
As a result, 24 companies were able to list their shares, raising over $11 billion. This amount is ten times higher than the figures for the same period in 2022. Additionally, as of January, the total amount raised has exceeded a quarter of the total IPO volume for the entire year of 2025.
It is forecasted that in 2023, more than 450 companies intend to go public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The highest activity is expected from companies in the fields of technology, healthcare, industry, as well as those involved in artificial intelligence and robotics.
