The Chui region continues to maintain its status as the main driving force of Kyrgyzstan's economy. The state of industrial production in the region has reached a significant mark of 355.8 billion soms. This information was announced during a meeting between the presidential envoy in the region, Azamat Osmonov, and the chairman of the board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Artem Novikov, where the main achievements and future prospects of the region were discussed.

Azamat Osmonov emphasized that the gross regional product of the Chui region amounted to 205 billion soms, which corresponds to a growth of 12% by the end of 2025. Currently, the region is actively developing its industrial sector, focusing on the food industry and the production of building materials, the volumes of which have increased by almost one and a half times. It is also noted that the Issyk-Ata district is demonstrating the most noticeable positive changes thanks to the support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

Artem Novikov, in turn, stated the important role of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund as one of the key partners of the government in the process of implementing the country's economic growth program.
“The Fund actively supports the Chui region in implementing major initiatives. Throughout its operation, the RKDF has financed 727 projects totaling 335 million US dollars. Approximately 51% of the total financing has been directed towards agro-industrial processing, as well as industry and the production of building materials, which today almost completely meet the country's needs thanks to domestic production. Over the past five years, 66% of all financed projects have been implemented,” added Novikov.
