The Chinese side expressed strong protest in response to the introduction of a new package of sanctions by the United Kingdom against Chinese companies, which was justified by references to "ties with Russia." This was reported by an official representative of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

He noted that the actions of the British government are unilateral sanctions that lack international legal justification and are not supported by the United Nations.

In the context of the Ukrainian conflict, the official emphasized that China strictly controls the export of dual-use goods, following existing legislative norms, and added that normal trade relations between Chinese and Russian enterprises should not be affected.

The ministry representative urged the United Kingdom to immediately correct its mistakes and lift the sanctions against Chinese organizations, adding that China will take necessary measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its companies.
