Kyrgyzstan Increases Exports to Iran: Trade Turnover Increased by 37% in 2025
According to preliminary data provided by the National Statistical Committee, there is a significant increase in trade turnover between the two countries in 2025 — by 37%. While the total trade volume in 2024 was over $58 million, in 2025 it nearly reached $80 million.
This growth was made possible by the doubling of Kyrgyzstan's exports to Iran: from $18.3 million in 2024 to $36.3 million in 2025. At the same time, imports also showed positive dynamics, although with less pronounced figures — $43.5 million in 2025 compared to $40 million in 2024.
Kyrgyzstan mainly imports equipment, building materials, textiles, chemical products, and food items, while it exports vegetables, food products, cotton, and equipment to Iran.
