Cryptocurrency in Kyrgyzstan is used not only for investments but also for business transactions, - expert
He noted that previously the population mainly perceived cryptocurrency as an investment tool; however, at present, virtual assets are beginning to integrate into the traditional market.
“The use of cryptocurrencies was initially mainly associated with investments and trading. However, now they are becoming part of the mainstream market, where citizens use virtual assets for payments — both for transit payments and in the context of foreign economic activity. In this context, cryptocurrency demonstrates its flexibility,” he pointed out.
“When banks are not operational on weekends or there is a need for urgent transfers outside of working hours, using USDT becomes the optimal solution. Many companies are already actively using this tool. In a number of countries, payments in Tether (USDT) have become commonplace, and they are used as a means of lending and settlement,” he emphasized.
In his opinion, Kyrgyzstan is not lagging behind global trends in this area.
“Kyrgyzstan is on the same wavelength as global trends. Given the mountainous terrain of the country, this could lead to an improvement in the quality of life for citizens, as the need for physical visits to banks will disappear. All operations can be carried out online using mobile devices,” the expert added.
