In Uzbekistan, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade and the American corporation Aviagen Broiler Breeding Group, which is a global leader in poultry breeding. According to the presidential administration, the goal of this project is to create a modern poultry cluster with a full production cycle.
For the implementation of this large-scale project, a plot of land measuring 88 hectares has already been allocated. In the first phase, the volume of foreign investments will amount to 40 million US dollars. After the completion of all works and reaching the design capacity, it is planned that the cluster will be able to produce up to 4.5 million broilers per year, which will significantly strengthen the country's food security and increase the export potential of this sector.
At the same time, despite the agreements reached, the official authorities have not yet provided information about the exact location of the new complex, as well as the timelines for the start of construction work and the commissioning of the facility.
