- The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to exempt certain EAEU countries from customs duties on cocoa bean processing products.

These benefits apply to non-degreased cocoa paste, cocoa butter, and cocoa fat (according to codes 1803 10 000 0 and 1804 00 000 0 of the EAEU Customs Tariff).

This customs tariff regulation measure will be in effect until April 30, 2027, inclusive.

“These products are in demand by confectionery manufacturers for the production of chocolate, candies, and other chocolate products, and are also used in the pharmaceutical and perfumery industries,” noted EEC Minister of Trade Andrey Slepnev.

This decision will come into effect ten calendar days after its official publication.
