The village of Sogondu, located in the Alay district, can now boast a new water supply system. The construction of a water intake well and pipeline, as well as storage tanks for drinking water, has been completed. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to the ministry's data, the new facility began operations in the first quarter of 2026, allowing residents to receive a stable and safe water supply.

Construction work started in 2024. Under the supervision of the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Development, a 50-meter well was drilled. A chlorination station for water disinfection, a guardhouse, and a toilet were also built.

The water supply system includes 900 meters of pipelines connecting the well and the storage tanks. Two tanks, each with a capacity of 50 cubic meters, were installed, ensuring the necessary water reserve and guaranteeing uninterrupted supply.
