Residents of the village of Sogondy in the Alai District now have drinking water
According to the ministry's data, the new facility began operations in the first quarter of 2026, allowing residents to receive a stable and safe water supply.
Construction work started in 2024. Under the supervision of the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Development, a 50-meter well was drilled. A chlorination station for water disinfection, a guardhouse, and a toilet were also built.
The water supply system includes 900 meters of pipelines connecting the well and the storage tanks. Two tanks, each with a capacity of 50 cubic meters, were installed, ensuring the necessary water reserve and guaranteeing uninterrupted supply.
