According to her, in March 2025, a state program for comprehensive socio-economic development of the regions was adopted, designed for 20 years, with updates every five years.
The main goal of this project is to reduce disparities between regions, create sustainable and economically active territories, and improve the quality of life for the population.
The program covers not only infrastructure projects but also includes the creation of new jobs, support for businesses, and strengthening the capacity of local self-government. Within this initiative, specializations for each district and region have been identified.
The following construction projects are planned for 2026:
- sanitary landfill in the city of Osh;
- three Rest Points;
- brick factory in the Osh region;
- fertilizer production plant in the Nookat district;
In addition, the following will be created:
- trade-service cooperatives;
- trade-logistics centers;
- sturgeon cluster in the Toktogul district of the Jalal-Abad region and other facilities.
There are also plans to improve road infrastructure and construct entry groups in settlements.
Additionally, a state program aimed at the development of border, high-altitude, and hard-to-reach areas is planned to be created by 2030, as well as a program for the development of sustainable domestic tourism and financing of youth entrepreneurship.
