Eurobonds for $700 million and USD KG: Kyrgyzstan Successfully Implemented New Financial Instruments
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan made a significant step in the financial sector by introducing new instruments. This was announced at a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo" and conducted under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov. Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev presented the report.
According to Kasymaliev, the republic issued Eurobonds for the first time in the amount of 700 million US dollars, which will enable the implementation of a number of strategically important projects.
In addition, the first issuance of the national stablecoin "USD KG," which is backed by gold and pegged to 1 dollar, was carried out in the amount of 50 million tokens. A listing of another stablecoin — "KG ST" on the international exchange also took place, which is a testament to the trust in the country's financial system," he noted.
