- On February 27, a republican meeting is taking place in Bishkek with the participation of Sadyr Japarov.
Within the framework of this meeting, three key reports were presented regarding the results of work in the economy, financial sector, real production, and social sphere until 2025.
The President noted that for many years the government has been striving to organize the shadow economy, focusing on transparency and accountability. "We have achieved a significant reduction in manifestations of corruption in the fiscal sphere, and the results of this process are already evident," added Sadyr Japarov.
According to him, the growth indicators of Kyrgyzstan's economy are unique in global practice and are often related to changes in commodity prices or the opening of new deposits.
The head of state emphasized that the average GDP growth rate over the past four years has been 10.2%. According to data from the International Monetary Fund, in 2024, Kyrgyzstan ranked among the top three countries with the highest real GDP growth in the world.
The President also noted that the financial stability of the republic has reached a new level. "Historically, our international reserves have exceeded the mark of 10 billion dollars for the first time. In 2025, reputable international rating agencies upgraded Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating to a level of B+," he stated.

Note:
A sovereign credit rating is an assessment of a country's ability to meet its debt obligations on time and in full, issued by international rating agencies.
The B+ rating falls into the category of speculative (non-investment) levels, indicating a stable ability of the country to service its debt under current conditions, although the economy remains vulnerable to external shocks and changes in global markets.
