During the event, three key reports were presented, covering the results of work in the economic and financial sectors, as well as in the real economy and social sphere for the year 2025.
As noted by Sadyr Japarov, five years ago the country faced serious problems related to the state budget, insufficient effectiveness of institutions, and low levels of investment activity due to the pandemic.
“Regarding future plans, we focused on a deep transformation of the economic model of our state,” he emphasized.
The President expressed confidence that the years 2021-2025 will be an era of significant changes in the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
In 2020, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 8.3 billion dollars, and it is projected to grow to 22.6 billion dollars by 2025, which corresponds to approximately a threefold increase in the economy,” said Sadyr Japarov.
According to him, over the five-year period, tax revenues have increased fourfold, customs revenues sixfold, and non-tax revenues have grown ninefold.
If we consider the consolidated budget, it amounted to 313 billion soms in 2020, and by 2025 it will exceed 1 trillion 100 billion soms, which means a growth of 3.5 times.
