In 2025, 1.7 billion soms were allocated for the development of irrigation infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, reported this during a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo." He noted that project work is currently underway on 41 facilities, while construction has already begun on 33 facilities.
“In addition, restoration work is being carried out on 10 facilities, and design work is ongoing for 24 facilities,” he added.
