A republican meeting is taking place in Bishkek, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.
At this event, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, presented key economic indicators for the past five years.
He noted that 2025 was a landmark year: the country successfully completed one stage of socio-economic development and entered the next. In addition, last year, programs aimed at development until 2026 were implemented, and a National Program until 2030 was adopted.
“In 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) reached 1 trillion 976.4 billion soms, with a real growth of 11.1%. If in 2020 the GDP per capita was 1,230 dollars, by 2025 it increased to 3,075 dollars, which is more than two and a half times. Social policy has undergone significant changes,” said Kasymaliev.
In particular, in 2025, pensions exceeded the minimum subsistence level. If in 2020 it was 5,894 soms, after indexing in 2025, the pension amount reached 11,238 soms. The amount of social benefits was also increased by up to 200% depending on their type, and new payments such as “Bala bereke,” “Kelechekke salym,” and “Social contract” were introduced into practice.
Moreover, the wage fund in the budgetary sector, which was 14.8 billion soms in 2010, grew to 146.5 billion soms in 2025, which is almost a tenfold increase. According to last year's results, the average salary amounted to about 44,419 soms,” he added.
It should be noted that a republican meeting on the results of 2025 is currently taking place in “Yntymak Ordo” with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
This event involves government members, heads of state institutions, presidential representatives in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
