During the meeting held on February 26, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, B. Mombekov, discussed with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) the possibilities for cooperation in the field of electromobility and digitalization of the transport sector.
The key topics of discussion included the development of infrastructure for electric vehicle charging, modernization of the railway sector, and the creation of conditions to improve the regulatory framework.
During the dialogue, issues were also raised regarding the implementation of analytical systems for assessing the condition of roads, the use of intelligent technologies and information analytics, as well as the development of investment mechanisms based on safety criteria, resilience to climate change, and the technical condition of facilities.
In addition, the use of meteorological stations and mobile laboratories for monitoring the state of the road network was discussed.
ADB representatives expressed their readiness to share international experience and tools that will help improve the efficiency of road infrastructure management.
