At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the head of the State Insurance Organization OJSC, Baktygul Abdyjaliev, reported that this year 240 insurance cases were registered, with a total payout amounting to 37 million soms. Additionally, in 2025, 247 cases were noted, resulting in payouts of 32 million soms.
“At the moment, we have already paid out 10 million soms for 37 cases. Insurance covers 27.5% of the housing stock, which corresponds to 361 thousand houses. Currently, there are 18 insurance companies operating, of which 17 are private and one is state-owned. Insurance premiums remain low: 600 soms for rural areas and 1200 soms for cities, which leads to insufficient activity from companies in this sector,” he added.
