
Another meeting of the Kyrgyz-British Business Council took place in London, where Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev represented Kyrgyzstan. This information was disseminated by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the KR.
High-ranking representatives from the Ministries of Economy and Finance, as well as the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, also participated in the event. Specialists from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, government agencies, and large international companies joined the discussion.
During his speech, Zheenbek Kulubaev shared data on the socio-economic situation in the country, noting positive trends in economic development: the gross domestic product growth for 2025 was 11.1 percent.
The minister emphasized that such success was achieved thanks to structural reforms, modernization of the economy, and improvement of the investment climate.
Kulubaev highlighted key areas of cooperation with the United Kingdom, including:
- transport and logistics, energy;
- information technology;
- agriculture and tourism, including the development of modern mountain resorts.
He also assured the meeting participants of the reliability of the Kyrgyz side as a partner for British investors.


Representatives of British business highly appreciated Kyrgyzstan's economic achievements and expressed gratitude for the openness to constructive discussions. They confirmed their readiness to recommend the country as an attractive destination for investments on the international stage.
