A new factory is planned to be built in the Chui region, which will focus on the production of irrigation equipment. According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the project is being implemented with the support of Turkish investors.
According to the agency, the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey is actively negotiating with the investor regarding the implementation of this project, which will be located in the Moscow district on a plot of 10 hectares in the Ak-Suu rural area.
The investor is the Turkish company AKPLAS PLASTIK SANAYI VE TICARET A.Ş., known for its high-tech solutions for agriculture, including drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, as well as polymer pipes (HDPE/PE, PVC), fittings, and equipment for water filtration and separation.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry oversees the preparation and support of the agreement for this project.
The launch of the factory will enable the production of equipment for water-saving irrigation systems, which in turn will increase the efficiency of water resource use, reduce irrigation water losses, and introduce modern technologies into the agricultural sector of the country, notes the press service.
It is also emphasized that the opening of the factory will create new jobs and ensure the development of related services, such as logistics, installation, and maintenance, which will lead to the formation of a production base with export potential.
