At the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh held on February 25, 2026, deputy Ilimbek Kubanychbekov expressed concern about the export of agricultural products.
He noted that the labor of farmers, especially those involved in cotton cultivation, often does not receive due recognition. “Farmers face difficulties in exporting their products beyond the country's borders and cannot sell them at fair prices within Kyrgyzstan,” emphasized Kubanychbekov.

The deputy also called for a solution to the issue of providing preferential loans to farmers, which would allow them to successfully conduct the planting campaign and avoid financial losses.

These issues were raised in the context of discussing the candidacy of Erlis Akunbekov for the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
