
For the VI World Nomad Games, which will take place in 2026, Kyrgyzstan will allocate 147.5 million soms. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic announced plans to finance key activities to ensure the successful conduct of the competitions.
The majority of the budget will be directed towards improving infrastructure and developing breeding horse farming. In particular, the "State Holding of Breeding Horse Farming" intends to purchase 14 elite stallions and mares of English and Russian trotting breeds, for which 32.8 million soms have been allocated.
Additionally, 91.2 million soms will be spent on technical improvements, including the modernization of stables, arenas, and sports facilities, as well as the creation of tracks and ensuring medical and veterinary services during the games. The remaining 23.5 million soms will be used for administrative needs and maintaining the staff involved in organizing this significant ethnosport event.
