Up to $30 million will be invested in the reconstruction of the "Sayakat" tourist complex and the "Dostuk" hotel in Bishkek.
According to information from the directorate's press service, the investment in the renovation of "Sayakat" is being made by a Russian company and will amount to about $5 million. As for the "Dostuk" hotel, its complete renovation will cost between $15 and $25 million.
During the renovation, all engineering networks will be completely replaced, including electrical, water supply, and sewage systems. There are also plans to update the roofing, facades, and interior spaces, as well as modernize the heating system.
During the reconstruction, the "Dostuk" hotel will be closed to visitors. The investor, in turn, is committed to paying an annual rent of 40.8 million soms, which will increase to 80.58 million soms starting from the fourth quarter of 2027 and will reach 100.9 million soms per year from 2029 to 2049.
The press service also reminded that after the transfer of the "Dostuk" hotel to the management of the directorate, 35.59% of the shares, which were previously owned by a private shareholder, were returned to the state.
