
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic dedicated to the implementation of the state anti-corruption strategy. During the event, participants reviewed the execution of the action plan approved by the presidential decree and presented interim results of the monitoring. Representatives from the General Prosecutor's Office, the Anti-Corruption Business Council, and civil society activists were present at the meeting. The main focus was on the need to create a national system for anti-corruption expertise of regulatory acts, which will help eliminate legal loopholes that contribute to abuses at the document development stage.
The ministry also pays serious attention to the digitalization of management and increasing the transparency of its activities. The results of recent monitoring allowed for the identification of both achieved successes and the most pressing issues. Specific proposals have already been developed to address these issues, which will be included in the ministry's final report. In addition, meeting participants discussed international cooperation in the fight against corruption and proposed systemic measures to reduce risks in decision-making processes.
The agency confirmed that the fight against corruption will remain one of its priority tasks. The main focus will be on the ministry's openness to society and the implementation of new control methods. A systematic approach to preventing violations will become the cornerstone of the ministry's development in the coming years, ensuring accountability and effective use of state resources.
