At a press conference, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov, reported on the actions of the state aimed at reducing the impact of European Union sanctions on several banks in Kyrgyzstan.
He noted that the government and the National Bank are working consistently and purposefully in this direction. "We are taking measures that will help minimize the negative consequences of the sanctions packages," Kozubekov added.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the issues related to sanctions affect not only the Kyrgyz Republic but also neighboring countries in the region.
